Suzanne Moll

Suzanne has an extensive background in international development projects. Her recent work includes spearheading evaluation projects on media dynamics for organisations such as UNESCO, the EU Foreign Policy Instrument, International Media Support, and OsloMet. Known for her expertise in gender dynamics, misinformation and crisis communication, she has travelled widely for her assignments, conducting field missions in diverse contexts including the Central African Republic, South Sudan and Uganda- Regarding female empowerment Mrs. Moll has developed programs in Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia.

Throughout the pandemic, Mrs Moll was the lead in the creation of Crisis Communication Chapters in countries such as Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Kenya, and Zambia on behalf of Deutsche Welle. She further collaborated with the Swiss Fondation Hirondelle to develop and deliver training, support, and online resources for journalists across Africa—particularly in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic and the accompanying ‘disinfodemic’.

Post-pandemic, Mrs. Moll has continued to her work in capacity building, notably through the training of journalists in Kenya’s Kakuma refugee camp with a special focus on empowering the vast amount of women/single mothers in the camp.

Ms. Moll serves as a member of the Danish National UNESCO Commission, appointed by the Danish Minister of Education. The Commission functions as an unpaid, advisory body focused  developing the values of UNESCO on matters such as World Heritage,  UNESCO Schools, media freedom and Women’s Empowerment.

Ms. Moll communicates fluently in English, German, and French- as well as the Scandinavian languages.
